The Waikiki Edition (now the Modern Honolulu) was the first Edition hotel opened by the partnership of Marriott and hip hotelier Ian Schrager. Molinar Construction provided Construction Management Services for the complete renovation of all guestrooms, public areas, ballrooms, spa and the addition of a nightclub, pool, decks, bars and the Morimoto Restaurant. Features 17 floors and 353 rooms.
